Financial Aid

There are many different sources of funding for one’s theological education. This is a partial list of scholarships that our students have received aid from.

In addition to the ones listed below, students who are postulants within the Los Angeles Diocese receive a 39.2% scholarship for all tuition and fees throughout their time at Bloy House.  Those who do not receive the Bishop’s 39.2% scholarship are eligible to apply for an internal Bloy House Scholarship.  In addition, students are strongly encouraged to appeal to their local parish and congregants for financial support for their theological education.

The following list is a list of scholarships that our students have received aid from.  We encourage you to look through and see which ones apply to you.  Information about these scholarships was taken directly from their websites.

Applications from both lay and clergy are welcome.  Awards range up to $15,000 and Fellows may apply to renew grants for up to three years (renewal grants are capped at $10,000).
